THE ROYAL DRAGON LOGO
The Crown represents the Royalty which these techniques protected in the past. Hapkido & Taekwondo were both used to protect the Korean Presidents residence and nobility throughout the ages. In ancient times Buddhist monks were summoned to the Royal Palaces to teach Chin-Na or joint locking to the wealthy families to protect themselves from thieves when they ventured outside of the Palace. Both of these Korean styles have a rich heritage and history of high moral values and powerful physical and mental strength.

The Royal Dragon System is a complete Martial Art system featuring some of the best components in all ranges of combat. Reaching "Royal Dragon" status in our school means you've earned at least a 1st Dan Black Belt in two separate styles Taekwondo & Hapkido. The logo again features the full circle philosophy in this logo represented by red & black. The Red colored outer circle signifies the potential danger of the outside world. The Black inner circle represents the protection from the potential danger of the outside world that a Black Belt can provide. The center is the Um-Yang which is the Korean equivalent of the Chinese Yin & Yang and represents the harmony of both the passive/aggressive and the inner/outer range of fighting as explained above. The two styles represent both the outside striking range style of Taekwondo as well as the inside hand to hand combat style of Hapkido. The training at Royal Dragon Martial Arts also features a complete study of Ground Fighting not just "grappling", but a true study of how to fight from the ground using the hands and feet and martial art skills from both styles to effectively protect oneself if on the ground.
Both arts are also complimented by Master Ehnle's Pressure Point & Vital Point system. Gradually at each higher rank students are exposed more of the world of Pressure Points & Vital points in a very street-worthy and direct approach eliminating the mystery and complexity often associated with this subject. Together the complete study of the hard striking style, the joint locking soft style as well as the internal and scientific study of Pressure Points and Vital Points create Master Ehnle's Royal Dragon System.
