 PRESSURE  POINT TRAINING

Master Frank Ehnle has developed a program of Pressure Point Applications for use on the streets. For  street self-defense everything  must be kept simple. Even some of the most famous Pressure Point practitioners admit that the complicated theories behind Chinese Medicine cannot be relied upon in self-defense and do not work all the time on every person. With this in mind Master Ehnle has created a practical "See the Target, Hit the Target" approach to Pressure Point applications blending eastern pressure point theory and western anatomical targets. An approach that is easy to learn and practical for street self-defense.  "It is important to hit hard, but its more important to know where to hit hard" -F. Ehnle

The Goals of our
Pressure Point Program:

1) To integrate pressure points easily with any Striking or Joint Locking System
2) To eliminate the complicated memorization of theories behind pressure points
3) Create practical street effective techniques based on Eastern & Western principles.
4) Bring forth a simple method for remembering targets & locating them instantly.
5) Combine street effectiveness with authentic pressure point & vital point information

Features of Our Pressure Point System:

1) "Visual Learning Method" Find and locate points easily with visual references
2)
See A Target, Hit The Target philosophy, not complicated theory sequences.
3) Our goal is to
Stun and Weaken, not relying on the "Pot of Gold" knockout.
4) Targeting
Clusters of Points and for more effectiveness on the street.
5)
Western Anatomical Vital Points taught along side Eastern  Pressure Points

 PRESSURE POINT PROGRAM:
Pressure points allow you to weaken and stun an opponent therefore making joint locking easier to apply. In this series we focus on pressure point targets known to weaken, offset an attackers balance, loosen joints, and debilitate the attacker. What is eliminated is the "Magic" of expelling CHI energy from the body, and the complicated principles of Eastern Medicine which do not work on every person at all times of the day. Some Chinese theories have us looking at the clock, a persons body type and relying on principles which are extremely difficult to use in a street situation. I have chosen specific pressure points and western anatomical targets to effectively enhance Street  Hapkido techniques. We have three opportunities to apply Pressure Points in  Hapkido, before, during, and after the technique. All of these applications are discussed.

My personal thanks to Dim Mak Grandmaster, Dr. Pier Tsui Po for his guidance and assistance in putting together this program. For more in depth and concise study of Dim Mak we recommend his books, videos and study courses.

Overview:
The program was designed specifically for both the combat striking arts and joint locking arts. It is a comprehensive & practical approach to pressure point, vital point,  nerve & muscle system attacks for the street. This system is simple to learn and apply. No complicated theories to memorize, and the program is not based on knockouts. It blends together eastern and western principles in a straight forward, easy to understand and street effective approach. It is not designed to knockout, it is designed to stun,  disable or eliminate your attacker based on your needs in a given situation. The Charts Below are some of the points we focus on in our program. It is impossible and would take 10 tapes to cover every pressure point applicable to Combat.. I will be covering additional important points during seminars which are not included on the tapes. I am also working on a book to accompany this program which highlight the cause and effect of these points, along with our strategy and approach to Combat Pressure Point Fighting.

Some of our techniques follow Counterflow, Yin Yang, & Triple Yin principles. However we do not want these theories to be the forefront of a students thinking in Combat. Unless a student is intent on studying Dim Mak to its fullest and going down the path of a Dim Mak Master, there is no need to dwell on these theories. Some of these theories are known to not be effective on every person or in every situation. Many of our targets are "self-contained" targets, they have massive effect all by themselves and when they are included in techniques and they can be relied upon for street self-defense.. For those who wish to apply pressure points to their martial arts training without becoming a Dim Mak master, this program is for you. Our approach is straight forward and does not need to rely on the study of these theories. If you wish to study these these theories further again we recommend Grandmaster Pier Tsui-Po's books and videos.
